1/29/2006Swann's Way
I am currently immersed in the acclaimed Marcel Proust's "Swann's Way." I must admit it took me a while to adjust to his writing style but, eventually, even the sentences that ramble on for half a page begin to make sense. The novel seems as though it were a poem before mutating into prose... tremendous imagery. Shocking metaphors. Give it a try.
Tony Moreno has submitted a poem (or collection of quatrains?) to Adopt A Beard. You can read it in its entirety here. Until next time...
