Let me repeat what I have said before (to myself or others, I'm not sure): I am constantly amazed at how many people I know can pen some great poems. There are many "closet" poets out there (and no, I'm not referring to sexual orientation).
A big thank you to my friend Lindsey Skakum for so generously providing Adopt A Beard with one of her poems. I did not know she wrote poetry, but she does-- quite well, too. Please check out "If Only For An Hour" and try tell me I'm off my proverbial rocker. Today I pack in order to complete the move to Alberta, the land flowing with milk and honey. I will be there for 4 months attempting to earn some coinage with which I can pay for the furtherance of my education and lavish spending habits. I will keep this train-a-rollin', so have no fear.
