A Glorious Beard

The concept of attaching a picture to a poem is also, suprisingly, new to this site.* One might say Mr. Johnson is an innovator of sorts. He definitely has a healthy beard.

The Blizzard: Not Just a Tasty Treat

Hello, everyone! Though Saskatoon, my uninhabitable city of choice, was recently hit with its biggest blizzard storm in about 50 years, I am still alive and well. It would seem that Orrin Sheehan, Adopt A Beard's newest contributor, is also alive and well--or good at faking it. You can read his premier effort here. Thank you, friend!

In other news, the ever-clever Ian McPhail graced Saskatoon this past Saturday the 13th, as we did a book signing for So Many Shepherds at McNally Robinson. The event was a success on all fronts. Many thanks to all those who came out and supported us. Also, a big thanks to McNally Robinson for being such kind and gracious hosts.

Saskatoon Book Signing

This Saturday, January 13th, Ian McPhail and I will be doing a book signing in the Saskatoon* location of McNally Robinson. It will take place from 1-3 p.m. in the afternoon. If you are in the area, we would love to see you there! (See the McNally Robinson website.)
