4/05/2007Enter Hamnet
As you may or may not know, Hamnet was the name of Shakespeare's son. My name (Graham) also has "ham" in it. Furthermore, Hamnet just sounds funny. For these very good reasons, I decided to start using Hamnet for one of my aliases/pen names.
Well, in a nod to my father William Shakespeare, today I would like to share a link with you that was first shared with me: http://shakespearelang.sourceforge.net/report/shakespeare/shakespeare.html I won't do it much justice talking about it; let's just say that some people are very creative and find interesting ways to squander their time. I hope you enjoy the link. Before I forget, Michael Giardina's site "Creative Studio" has also been added to the Linkage page for your future reference. Enjoy. posted by Hamnet at 5:42 PM 4/04/2007She said, "It's about time, you sloth."
This is slightly--ok, terribly--overdue.
I want to draw your attention to a site that is fantastic. The last time I looked at it, it didn't even look like it does now. That gives you an idea of how long I've delayed this post. I blame the academy, school, and Mum, an Icelandic band that has very little to do with the rest of the items in this list. Ok. So the site I linked to above was just a distractions. What I would really like to show you is http://creativestudios.com. What is it, you ask? Well, it is, for one thing, a very interesting collection of clever poetry. Abstract, postmodern, fun to read... I don't care what you call it. The author is Michael Giardina, who was nice enough to stop by Adopt A Beard and say hello. I recommend you at least take a gander at some of his work,--which also includes reviews and fiction--and maybe even return the greeting! Bye for now. P.S. I leave for Bolivia and Peru in 30 days. posted by Hamnet at 7:02 PM
