As you can see, this is the first of (hopefully) many quality posts. Through this simple blog, Erik and I will hopefully keep you updated on our journey through Europe. I'm looking forward to hearing from both of you - make sure to take lots of pictures of good 16th century stuff - and the odd picture of yourselves so that we can reassure ourselves that you are eating properly, getting enough sleep - all those kinds of things!
