Erik has managed to book us into a hostel in Amsterdam. Hurray for Erik. I have never been to a hostel, so I look forward to the experience. It seems like a nice, easy-going place to start off our ambitious tour. Check it out:

In other news, Andy Steves (the son of Rick Steves, the famous travel-guide writer) and a friend just started their own little European adventure. Hopefully we can run into them somewhere... have you seen how small Europe is? Our chances are pretty good, I figure :)
