worthawhile

dear readers,

mentioned below, i have listed a few things which i have found to be worthwhile/enjoyable lately.

1. shastadaisy123 strikes again with two more poems, Words and The Night Will Go On... Take a gander. And thank you to freda for continuing to provide AAB with quality, heart-felt poems.

2. in my stereo lately:

check out Iron & Wine and Sufjan Stevens, who have been gracing my speakers an awful lot in the last few weeks. i keep re-discovering both artists, and each listen they become more beautiful.

3. silence

yes, i know... not the most "exciting" thing you might have imagined. but i am enjoying silence a lot lately. if you usually drive with music, try turning off the stereo for a bit and driving around aimlessly at night. if you don't go crazy, you might just enjoy it. maybe.

4. "siddhartha" by Hermann Hesse

a classic allegorical story about life, suffering, happiness, etc. short and rather interesting, even if you don't agree with every idea contained within it.

A little off topic, but how about Million Dollar Homepage.com? Yes, I realize this site is rather well known, and has been for some time. Quite the little concept. And by "little," I of course mean quite ridiculously awesome. Too bad money is evil and all that jazz.
