| Thank you for dropping by! Before you go any further, note that this site has almost nothing to do with beards. Instead you will find abstract and creative poetry and art. Feel free to roam the site and critique the content, with or without profuse verbal exclamations. And keep in mind that none of the content is meant to be offensive unless you converse with sandwiches, etc.
2/24/20073 new entries to get excited about
I am pleased to bring you three new additions to Adopt A Beard in this waning but beautiful month of February:
1) A Tree with Lights - by Ole Schenk Ole is a good friend of mine, and his exuberance spills into his poetry as if he were Gerard Manley Hopkins downing a bowl of fruit loops. He is wonderfully clever (I'm talking about both Gerard and Ole here), and worth reading over and over to let the subtleties sink in. Thank you Ole, and welcome to AAB! A most brilliant debut! 2) Britpop Congregation - by Paul Ginz Let Paul, one of AAB's pillars and long-time contributors, seduce you and beat you up into a wonderful pulpy mash of words. 3) Space - by Ronald Isom (in the Art & Such section) This drawing is deliciously and deceptively simple. It makes you think. It may blow your mind. Space.
