Britpop Congregation

Sitting in a village battle cruiser
I notice a myriad of metamorphosing faces
Beer is their human petrol
Bawling their eyes out to oasis

Walking the rowdy streets
Aware of their different echo
It is now I start to wonder
If I'm going to get decked by Stefan Leko

As the meaning of existence is cast to the breeze
Energy flow is scattered
Slightly miffed, minds adrift
To a time when homosapiens mattered.
