Historical Pivot

Slow suicide in dresses
Ignorance is the unravelling tapestry
Of a refrigerated life

Broadcasting parasites
Eat into the cerebration of the populous
The ivy of uneducated power
Drowns icons in professional gravy

In a matriarchal society
We are pillaged by covert Scotsmen
Concussed by their portmanteau words
As they crown the heads of breasted popinjays

How can we moonwalk on the same different planet
Or understand a diallect so alien and familiar?
We must act the scenes our costumes dictate
If not shiver behind the sunshine of the moment.
